In the previous episode, Kira was knocked out after getting the ball smashed right into his face at the last second.

He is furious with the whole system, demanding that he shouldn’t be judged based on this childish game and that this game arrangement is only destroying the lives of aspiring soccer players.

But his accusations are soon dismissed by Jinpachi Ego, and he is forced to leave the facility. Everyone can then rest at their quarters to prepare for tomorrow’s training session.

After the training session, Isagi has trouble sleeping at night and encounters Bachira, who offers to train together.

When Isagi confronts Bachira’s actions of sending the ball his way, Bachira responds there is a monster inside him who tells him what to do.
