‘Rent-A-Girlfriend‘ just aired its 13th episode “Dream and Girlfriend” on July 2nd, 2022, and what a fantastic episode it was, Kazuya realizes that he’s on the verge of losing his pretend relationship with Chizuhara after she reveals that she was only working as a rental girlfriend to pay for her acting school classes and if this play is a success, she will quit being a rental girlfriend and chase her passion for becoming an actress.
However, after she gave a fantastic performance and made the whole crowd overjoyed, she overhears the director of the play giving the main role to some other actor because she was related to a big high school sponsor since elementary school. This breaks Mizuhara’s heart thinking about how hard she worked to reach here and how unfair the world truly is.
In the midst of her losing hope for the future, Kazuya arrives to cheer her up by admiring her amazing performance at the play and plans to hire her every week from now on.
‘Rent-a-Girlfriend’ Episode 14 Release Date
The upcoming episode of Rent-a-Girlfriend will be titled “The Usual Girlfriend” which will be released on July 9th, 2022, and guessing by the title of the episode, Kazuya and Chizuru will continue their pretend relationship to keep Kazuya’s grandmother happy. However, to do that, Kazuya will have to take on some part-time jobs to pay for her visit each time which I’m sure he will do.

Fortunately for us, Muse Asia has started their own youtube channel where they regularly stream live episodes. Rent a Girlfriend is available to watch on Muse Asia YouTube Channel. They release two versions of each episode, Raw and Subbed; so if you know a little Japanese, now is the right time.

Rent-A-Girlfriend anime is based on a Japanese manga series, written and illustrated by Reiji Miyajima. The manga series began its serialization in July 2017 in Kodansha’s Weekly Shonen Magazine. The first season of the anime series began airing from July 11th to September 25th of 2020 with a total of 12 episodes, more news regarding the episode of season 2 will be released soon.
