The wait is over! Re:Zero Starting Life in Another World Season 2 The first half is … Re:Confirmed to after being delayed due to the COVID-19, we finally have a new release date to look forward to which is July 8-2020.
Re:Zero Starting Life in Another World is a really popular anime series based on a Japanese light novel series written by Tappei Nagatsuki and illustrated by Shinichiro Otsuka. This series first arrived on 4 April 2016 with an Anime and later two OVAs on 6 October 2018 And the second season was set to premiere on April 2020 but it was delayed due to the ongoing COVID-19.
The English title of the series ‘Starting Life in Another World’ is an accurate premise of the show. I believe all of us who have seen animes have once tasted this treat called the Isekai genre. It is a fantastic experience watching an anime where the main character is transported to another world full of magic or be a different year. We all have wished that we could experience something similar because let’s face it, living it a world of magic is sure to be better than ours. right?
Re:Zero Season 2: Release Date
Fans are overjoyed and hyped with excitement because the first half of the season is confirmed to be out on 8th July 2020 confirmed by the official Re:Zero twitter account.
The second half of the show the show will later make its debut on January 2010, so the wait it about 3-4 months after the first half ends.

Re:Zero: Plot (Synopsis)
The story is about a young boy Subaru Natsuki who is a Neet, all he does is play games, watch anime and eat one night after he visited the convenience store, he is summoned into a different world but not so much different from ours with no sign of the one who summoned him. Later he meets an Elf girl *cough* ehm half-elf girl with silver hairs who introduces herself as ‘Satella’ and her little magical companion Puck.
She mentions that a little thief girl stole her insignia and she needs to get it back so Subaru decides to help her out. Upon looking everywhere and following the clues they reach to an abandoned warehouse where both of them are mysteriously murdered by an assassin. was it the little girl?
Waking up after being killed Subaru discovers ability which lets him reverse time by death, he names this ability “return by death” (which in a sense works as a checkpoint system in a game(. He again meets Half-elf girl only to offend her by calling the name he was given by her ‘Satella’ which he later discovers is the name of the ‘witch of envy’ which is considered forbidden.
How does the ability works?
Return by death allows Subaru to comes back to life to a specific part of life which is easy to under in gaming term, just like a character in a video game we reach certain points and our progress is saved and now until we reach the next checkpoint everything in the middle will be erased and we will have to redo. just like that Subaru is continuously saving checkpoints as he is living his life and when he dies, he comes back to life to the last checkpoint.
Art/Animation 9/10
Every anime has flaws in some places, be it animation, art/backgrounds, or even fighting scenes, and sometimes it’s quite noticeable. But I’m amazed by how well this was animated and drawn very well and some of the best I’ve seen.
This anime was beautiful. The scenery, the sunset, the animation, and the character designs. Everything was great. Of course, there were some places where it was ‘not the most detailed’ but that’s just how it is right? you can animate everything but the budget stops you. I’m saying in most fights some of the background characters or movements were a little noticeable.
I didn’t gave this a 10 because this is not ‘Violet Evergarden’ but i’m kidding of course, this was one the most amazing anime I’ve seen (only after it was in every facebook group and the whole Emilia vs Rem thing)
Voice Acting/Sounds
Opening 1 was “Redo” by Konomi Suzuki which I think was great because honestly quite awesome, go listen to it now, I think it was amazing and quite goose-bumpy.
Opening 2 was “Paradisus-Paradoxum” by MYTH & ROID. Now do I even need to say anything this one is from Myth & Roid, it’s freaking awesome.
Ending 1 was “STYX HELIX” by MYTH & ROID again this is from Myth & Roid but I would like to say this was my 2nd favorite from all of the others.
Ending 2 was “Stay Alive” by Emilia My most favorite and amazing one in my opinion and i sometimes still listen to it.
Now for Season 2 Opening/Ending
According to the reports, the opening for the first half of season 2 is “Realize” by Konomi Suzuki which is quite amazing I just heard it now.
And the ending for season 2 is suspected to be “Memento.” by Nonoc which I can only assume is good too? I haven’t had the time to listen to it.
Enjoyment 10/10
Ok so the reason i gave 10 points is because i enjoyed it very much, it is simple as that. Now listen, I’m a huge fan for fantasy animes, cute elf girls, or anything non-human related… Hence, my reason.
Now allow me to explain in details. the Concept of the anime was original and that’s what makes an anime special am i not right? there are many anime that are a carbon copy of another anime which makes it unbearable to watch.
The pace of show was good, not too fast or too slow. Now some people might say it ended with a little progress but not me. I think it was very well done and really original.
